Common Questions
Here are answers to some common questions about our services.
Yes. As of the 16th of September 2025, we have took over the business and renamed it to “Kingston Chiropractic Solutions” as we operate with a completely different philosophy.
10-15 minute Standard appointment per patient. 1 patient per room for privacy reasons. Abolishment of 30-visit care plans. A redefined method of Wellness Care and Maintenance Care. A thorough analysis and explanation of your problems. HICAPS private health fund claims on the spot. Reasonable PAYG prices dropped from $89 to $75. An emphasis on personalised care rather than a prescribed 30-visit template plan.
During this transition period up till the end of October 2025, the new business owners will honour all pre-paid treatment plans. The exact same philosophy and methodological approach sold and explained to you before by the previous owners will be upheld. We will not provide a different type of service other than the one that you have previously paid for, until you run out of pre-paid appointments.
No. We may sell you the leftover stock only if you want to purchase them at your own accord. We believe that products such as orthotics, pillows, and dennerrolls should only be sold once we have “optimise” most joints in your body. In other words, we do not want to be pushing products to you at the beginning of each treatment plan because your body has potentially the ability to rehabilitate after chiropractic care, exercise, and ergonomic changes alone. We “max those out first”. Only then, should your body be anatomically incapable to move or perform normal activities-of-daily-living optimally, then we can help you consider a suitable product, BUT from a relevant practitioner such as a podiatrist or a surgeon.
Chiropractic care focuses on diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal problems, with an emphasis on spinal health. Our approach aims to alleviate pain, improve function, and enhance overall well-being.
Chiropractic care is safe when performed by a trained and licensed professional. All licensed chiropractors in Australia must be registered with the government-regulated board of registry AHPRA and must undertake continuous post-graduation educations annually. Most patients experience little to no side effects, but it is important to discuss any concerns with your chiropractor. Should there be any risk factors involved with your presentation, they must be legally laid out and explained to you. Precautions and orthopedic tests will always be carried out before adjusting you. You will also be informed about the treatment plan prior to commencing treatment. The patient’s safety, right of choice, and right of privacy is our priority.
During your first visit, we will perform a comprehensive assessment, including a physical exam and discussion of your medical history. If clinically relevant, we will take an X-ray of the relevant areas. Following this, we create a tailored treatment plan to meet your needs. You will be informed of the entire duration of the treatment plan and risk factors involving your condition. Once we have obtained verbal and written consent from you, we will then proceed to deliver the chiropractic adjustments at affected areas only. If also clinically relevant, we will refer you out to other health care professionals such as a physiotherapist, a myotherapist, a specialist, or a podiatrist.
The frequency of visits depends on your individual treatment plan. Some may benefit from weekly sessions, while others may require less frequent visits, down to once every quarter or once annually. Typically it will be once every 6 to 8 weeks. It also depends on which stage of care are you at. We typically solve acute/one-off problems, chronic problems, wellness care, and maintenance care. We will adjust your schedule based on your progress and goals. Kindly refer to our Philosophy page for more information.
Post-treatment, many patients feel immediate relief. However, some may experience temporary soreness. We recommend following any given aftercare instructions for optimal recovery and long-term benefits.
